The hotel was conveniently located, within walking distance of the Piazza Maggiore and the University. There was a fine little Trattoria nearly next door. The breakfast was one of the best I've had in Italy. Our room was all we needed for two sisters, and quite comfortable.

We had very nice 3 days here, recommend. Wonderful small hotel with a marvellous and perfect location, it was ideal for our purposes. The service was excellent as we had expected.

A nice size and recently renovated unit for a softer mattress. Fast check-in, parking on-site. By the way, parking fee - gbp 16 per day. Unbeatable location adjacent to several restaurants and coffee shops, the airport 3rd stop on aerobus and the fantastic churches and museums in Bologna.

Everything worked ok and was good. The level is of 3 stars, so no complains. To get more one should pay more.
Too small shower cabin, no place to move and wash...

The staff were helpful and
Went out of their way to. The hotel's central location made it easy to explore Bologna, though the street noise at night could be quite loud. It's a great base for your adventures.

The room offered plenty of space for our family with comfortable beds , and the bathroom amenities were a nice touch. The location was excellent , with many attractions and restaurants just a short walk away.
The surrounding streets can feel congested due to their size.

The location was very convenient, only a few minutes walk from the central town square, with restaurants, bars and shopping nearby. The room was comfortable, clean and well-kept, with all the basic necessities (lots of towels, fair amount of toiletries, a few inexpensive items in the minibar.) We were able to use the ac and the window shutters to keep the room comfortable despite the hot weather. The breakfast buffet had a pretty good variety of cold foods and hot drinks. All the staff we encountered were very helpful, polite, and friendly. Previous reviews had mentioned night noise as being a problem, but we didn't experience this, probably because we were there during the summer holiday when a lot of people were away.
The room had a very slight musty smoky smell but this was easily dealt with by opening the window a couple of times a day, and didn't take away from the general impression of cleanliness. We'd requested a non-smoking room but I suspect they didn't exist.

Good location in centre of town.
Small rooms and wardrobes. A bit too noisy in the evening, if you open the window.

Here's what you need to know
An very nice location near main attractions. The friendly staff were pretty good, provided great local dining tips. Rooms were clean and equipped with thoughtful amenities, though some may find the showers small. Beware of weekend noise from nearby bars if you're looking for a quiet night!

This is a great hotel. Nice staff, nice rooms, and the location is perfect - about halfway between the train station and town hall. The breakfast was amazing like the American girls on tv say it. Not bacon & eggs, but huge selection of Italian pastries, coffee, cerials, breads...and Italian pastries. It's one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in and deserves all of it's 3 stars.
There is no view because it's in the city center and there is only a small shower - no bathtub. This didn't bother us...just for your information.

Hotel has very good location and it is has clean rooms. Bathroom is small, but clean. If you have sweet tooth for breakfast you will enjoy it, for other it should feel more that you are Italy's food capital.
Since parking is a problem in most older city centers, I don't know if this should be critic, but I would like that stuff would be more helpful with parking your car. They told us that you can park anywhere in blue zone and that we will discuss the voucher later, which we didn't.
